I went over and read that letter. I think it expresses many questions and thoughts that a lot of us have had in the past or have now. The only problem is who do we vote for in November because I’d personally like a third option right about now. By the way, I know how devoted you are to our Armed Forces and wonder if you have seen 13 Hours which is the story of Benghazi. We rented it from Red Box (no streaming here yet) and although it was sad and violent, it had some interesting issues that were not covered in the news.

Marines are posted to protect ambassadors, if help was called for, why did they NOT get protection from US?????

I’m glad you read the letter. When I read it, it really struck home. I would like an OPTION 3 as well. The two “big candidates” leave a lot to be desired. I would like a fiscal conservative and one who can “filter” their mouth a bit. I think however, splitting the ticket will ensure a victory for Mrs. Clinton. I have not seen the film, but will keep it in mind & check it out on Redbox. Currently at our local theater, they are playing Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party….That one intrigues me too.

As far as the movie Thirteen Hours goes, it did NOT include that Congress did not pass the bill that would have allocated funds for defense at the consulate. Had they done so, those men would not have died.

Haven’t seen the movie; but I know that the Senate was controlled by Democrats in 2012. http://thehill.com/homenews/house/250237-gop-embassy-security-cuts-draw-democrats-scrutiny
“The administration requested $1.654 billion for the State Department’s Worldwide Security Protection program for fiscal 2012. House Republicans proposed funding the program at $1.557 billion. Congress eventually enacted $1.591 billion after the Senate weighed in.” Approving monies in 2012 would not have made a difference. It takes YEARS to get a building project moving thru the contracting etc.

I thought your comment was well-written. Truth always has a way of inspiring others when it is listened to—more so when it is lived out. “A live dog is better than a dead lion,” God says. Hope for anyone living is just around the corner. Thank you.
