Welcome aboard and nice to meet you. My wife and I are seasoned cruisers having first dipped our toes into the world of cruising in 1990, a one week cruise on board the Cunard Countess. The majority of our cruising has been with two cruise lines, Cunard and P&O. We have, however, sailed on 21 different cruise ships, some many times over, on 11 different cruise lines while completing 619 cruise nights on board.

Sad state of affairs after all the hours, days, and weeks of creating something that beautiful. Years ago I worked in a fabric store and finished garments hung on hangers as examples. All of a sudden we’d look up and a hanger would be swinging away and the garment gone. I didn’t understand it then and I still don’t. Hope someone sees it and can bring it home to its rightful owner. 🙂

Sad to see. We were at a show last week joking about taking a lovely piece home…won’t joke that way again. Makes you feel anxious about sending your quilt off to a show.

This is just WRONG. I’m wondering if it would do any good out here on the west coast to share this – of course, if someone is going to steal something that beautiful, they may be intending to take it as far as possible from its original home. Could I reblog this for others to see?

Yes you can; but please reblog my post from Sunday, March 9th. I just posted; there is more information; links etc. Quilt was stolen in OCTOBER 2013 from show in Australia. Spread the word.

That makes me sick to my stomach. It is such beautiful work and to have it snatched away like that? Awful!
